1) the mPower will only do a discharge if necessary; if the battery gauge is accurate, it just does a charge. 2) I still think our adaptor is safer than the alternatives - i.e. it's almost impossible to electrocute yourself because any live metal is heavily recessed. Travel adaptors that aren't properly plugged in could have live metal exposed, which is not good. 3) Humanware would have to invest a reasonable amount of development effort to make a car charger, which would mean we'd have to not do something else. I think possibly we could agree that some other manufacturer's car charger is safe to use, which would require some testing but not all the headaches of manufacturing something from scratch. I know a lot of people would like a car charger ... maybe if enough people ask Jonathan nicely ... 4) removable / external batteries have problems such as mechanical design, people inserting the wrong kind of batteries, or the right kind the wrong way round. It might make our lives at Humanware easier but I don't think that it would necessarily make a user's life easier. I think we'd probably be better off going to a higher capacity internal battery personally, but I'm open to arguments to the contrary.
