As far as losing anything, I would just say that if you have to
do a service reset, or a cold reset that you move your cards.
Otherwise, you shouldnt lose anything. I think you'd be safe,
but I guess I would remove them to make sure you don't.

Has any progress been made with folks losing their files on their
MPower. I just got mine and want to be safe. I usually keep a
