Hi folks,
I had a friend look at the back of the power supply cord that came with my
BrailleNote.

I thought I'd provide you with the information from the sticker on the back
of the wall plug.

First of all, a general description.
The item contains no marking identifying it as having been made by or for
Humanware. The writing is in english, French, and also contains some Asian
characters. This seems to imply that this item has been found to meet the
specifications of the BrailleNote and that other power supplies with the
same specifications might have been chosen to do the job equally well.

switching power supply
A/C Input:
 100-120 vac
50/60 hz
0.4 a (amps) or 40 va

D/c (direct current) output
+12 v dc (volts direct current)
1.25 a (amps)

I hope this information helps you make some good decisions about buying
power supply products.
