Hi Jim,

There may be something in internet explorer, under the tools menu, that says
something about Yahoo. This needs to be unchecked, and it may solve your PC
problem. After reflection, I decided to send this in case there are others
struggling with this same problem.

Subject: [Braillenote] Why are people envious of the PC

    Hello all!

Please excuse my ranting and raving but when I trie to get into a number of
sites with my windows XP computer, I get a double tone and nothing happens.
The link I wish to point to is still there but my machine won't go there and
I'm not getting any explanation as to why this happens. I may as well have B O
or bad breath or something! After at least two hours of frustration, I went to
the same site with my M-power and the site was trying to ask my permission to
place a cookie in my system so I could listen to something on the site. I gave
permission then the Site said there isn't enough memory so still couldn't hear
what I wanted to hear. There are times I'd like to throw my laptop across the
room! That won't help so won't do that! I even have pop up blocker and the
internal computer's fire wall turned off and I still have problems.

Thanks to the BN M-power, I at least found what part of my problem is. I
almost need an equivalent list to this one to figure out how to run my Darn PC!
My windows 98 machine can get into some of these sites
but my new machine can't! How frustrating!

Thank you for at least being there. You can envy your PC all you like but I'm
not impressed at times.
