Hi Synthia:

I just set up my first appointment in the planner today as I am a
new Braille Note Empower user.

Here is how I did it:

1. From the main menu, type "P" to start the planner.

The Planner says: press enter for today's date. If the
appointment is for later today, press enter or enter the date,
e.g.

Sep 6 if your appointment is on that date this year.

To create an appointment, press control and the enter key. Then
fill in the blanks.

When finished creating the appointment, press the escape key and
the unit says schedule this appointment?

Type y for yes or n for no and the appointment is scheduled.

Note that you enter the date in the planner the way your unit
displays the date when you ask it to display the date.

So if you use American style dates, you would enter the
appointment date as say: Sep 6 or May 2.

I think the planner is discussed in chapter 9 of the user guide
built into your unit.

Hope this helps.

Brian
