Hello,
A friend of mine and I, have shared a couple of databases.
What I did, was create the same fields she had in a new database, and when she sent me the file through the internet, I detached the file and put it in my database folder, then I went to the database I had created, went to import and it asked me which file I wanted to import, then I chose the file she had sent me, it then asked me if all of the filds were the same and I said yes, it then said that everything was ok, and it imported. Once it was imported, I could open the database, and everything she had included was there, and I could delete information, add information or do whatever I wanted.
I hope this helps.
Robert

Hi Alex:

Your database won't work that way. The person either has to
create it on their BN, or they need a compact flash card from you
to see it. They can see the text file, but it can't be opened up
to write information in.

Subject: [Braillenote] Trouble sharing a database

Hi all,

I am trying to share a database. I send the .cdb and definition
files, and the recipient detaches them to the keybase folder.
When he looks for the database, he sees it as an option, but is
unable to access the database with it. What is going on?

Thanks,
Alex
