Barbara, Let me add my aproval of Cingular and the Nokia 6682. I'll be honest, Cingular doesn't always get good marks on customer service. Having said that they have made innovative strides in accessability. They have an accessability department--granted, those folks are not always real knowledgable--but you have to give it to a company that realizes the need.
The plan I have is just one of the $39.99 plans with 450 or 500 minutes a month. I have paid for the "extended nights and weekends" and also another $10 for a cheapy data plan. I would suggest that you ask them about all of their plans and see what meets your needs. If you are going to use this as your only access to the net with your BN, then you definitely want to use the gprs service, and you also want to get an unlimited data plan which costs $19.99. Be aware that currently you cannot purchase the Nokia 6682 with TALKS from Cingular. Apparently, they are not authorized to sell TALKS for the 6682. If any one has an update on that, please advise. So, you will need to get your phone, possibly from an on line ource such as www.letstalk.com. You'll likely get a better deal from them. Then you'll need to decide which software to use TALKS or Mobilespeak. Since Cingular isn't authroized to sell TALKS with the 6682, and since you'll have to pay for the software, you can choose which you like best. Connecting the 6682 and your BN is a breeze once you're ready. Let the list know and we'll help as much as possible.
