One more thing I might add is that, although I have never actually talked to
Dean on the phone, his many messages on this list and helpful advice have
reflected what a hardworking and dedicated person he was. I remember once he
replied to one of my e-mail messages saying that he would always be happy to
help with anything and I remember thinking at the time of what a dedicated
person he was. I, too, am encouraged by his Christian faith and believe that
he is in a much better place. Still, this is a sad time for all of us. Dean,
I regret that I was never able to talk to you on the phone but would like to
thank you immensely for your patience, humor and excellent advice.

Hello all,
It is truly difficult to find the words to adequately convey one's feelings
at a time such as this. I only knew Dean from messages he posted on this
list. He was truly a man who went the extra mile! He was truly one in a
million! He certainly accomplished much for being so young! I thought he
was much older than he was. My condolences to his family during this time
of his passing!
As I age, I'm beginning to find myself celebrating the lives of those who
have passed on which include my parents as well as other friends and
acquaintances. Quite often I may encounter something wonderful in my
experience and I often ask myself what might my parents or friends think if
they could be sharing my experience with me? More often than not, the memory
of those who have passed on has comforted me in any number of ways! Quite
often my remembering them and what they said gives me a lift and needed
attitude adjustment sometimes. Truly Dean Jackson is an example we all
should try to emulate as best we can in our own way! Dean will be missed
and will be hard to replace but all of us here are so much better off after
being touched in some way by him! Dean lives on through those of us he
touched! May his memory live on through us all who he helped and inspired!
