Hi mike, there are actually a large number of commands when using JAWS as a Braille display with the BrailleNote, all controlled from the JAWS side. You can go with the defaults, or use the keyboard Manager to either change the key assignments, or you can go ahead and assign new commands if you want. the best way to become familiar with these is to take a look at the JAWS help, where the defaults are all laid out. From the JAWS Window, choose the Help menu, then Help Topics. From the tree view, choose the option for "JAWS and Refreshable Braille" by arrowing down to it and then pressing right arrow. Arrow down some more until you find Other Braille Displays and press right arrow. Then arrow down to BrailleNote and press right arrow to expand the info there. It's all listed for your reading pleasure. hope this helps. Jonathan Mosen BrailleNote Product Marketing Manager HumanWare
