If it still says that the folder is write protected regardless of the position of the switch, you might have to back up the card and reformat it. If you're using the bn to try and delete the folder, try a reset before attempting it again too.

Hi,

Holding the card with the ridgey area facing downward and coming
toward you, along the right edge you will feel an open groove.
Use your fingernail and you will see that the top of the groove
is a little tab that you can slide toward you or away from you.
I believe in the write  protected position the tab is toward you,
so you would want to slide it back to unprotect it.  HTH.
