Hello List,

I recently upgraded to an mPower and have found that my compact flash cards work fine. I was using what my computer refers to as a Toshiba card (I don't know if it is referring to the card or the PCMCIA adapter), as well as a card from Humanware containing my old Spanish module for my classic.

I've had no problem using my Sandisk cards in both the VoiceNote running
6.11 that work purchased for me, as well as my PK and mPower. In fact, on
the days I take my VoiceNote to work with me, I most often take along the CF
card with the backup of my PK. So, that way, I have all my personal info
right with me, without actually having to store it on the work machine.

Oh, grin, but while we're kind of on the subject of CF cards, or any cards
for that matter, man, does it sure pay to be careful with them. For, rather
than keep the CF card in the VN case, I used to just keep it in my purse.
But, when I was in a hurry at work a couple of Fridays ago, I inadvertently
pulled that little card out of my purse with some other stuff without
realizing what I had done. I then spent a kind of long weekend at home
eagerly waiting to get back to work on Monday to see if that card was in my
desk drawer. And, much to my surprise and relief, it was. But, I had sure
spent the weekend thinking it might have fallen out of my purse some where
along the way. Thus, I now always keep the card zipped in my VN case when
not in use.

This is amazing. All of my cards that I used in my classic, I
use in the mPower. None of my cards had any difficulties.
