Hi Terri and list,

I have encountered this on occasion and wondered whether the infrared port on the converter as well as the M-power needs to be wiped clean
on occasion and if so how is this done?

Subject: [Braillenote] infrared port not working anymore

Dear List,

When I used Keysoft 6.2, I was able to emboss documents using an infrared to
parallel device. Since I've upgraded to Keysoft 7, I can hardly emboss!
Most of the time, I get the following message: "error 1053 embossing
to:infrared --." (I can't remember the rest of the message.) Or I get a
message saying, "Cannot detect device in range on infrared port." I have
the infrared connector snugly against the BN!

Has Keysoft 7 ruined my connectivity?

I'm very frustrated!
