That is why I give my file a single letter, in case I have been doing other
things with the word processor, it is a quick way to get there, basically
three keystrokes, w, o, and then generally a. Only time it takes longer is
if I have been working on a different drive.

Hi. I do the same thing. My file is called notes.
The only thing that makes this a bit harder is if you open another document
with the word processor. The next time, it remembers that particular
document, so I have to enter "notes" again and press enter.

Actually, it's even easier than that.

Just go to the word processor, create a document, I call mine junk, and then
exit and shut off the bn.

Now, when you turn the bn on, hit w for word processor, o for open, accept
the folder and filename by pressing enter 2 times and you're there.

You can always copy the note to a more permanent location later.

It's really not that hard once you get into the habbit of doing it.

Hi Linda and List:

I think that is a great suggestion. If you need to hurry write something
down, like if you're at a bus stop or something, you don't always have time
to get the file created and hurry and write down what you need. You can't
do that from Main Menu, <smile>.
