Hi Jeff:
I wish I knew more about ActivSync. This is what the "read me"
says, and I don't know if it will help you or not.
G. Remote synthesizer and Braille Terminal:
These modes haven't been touched for a long time. However, in
KeySoft 7, they just got a whole lot better for BrailleNote
mPower and BrailleNote PK users. Users can either keep using a
serial cable to speak or read the contents of their PC screen, or
the cables can be forgotten and Bluetooth can be used for the
sake of tidiness and portability. Using Bluetooth, these modes
will work up to 10 meters away from your PC.

Subject: [Braillenote] Active Sync For Braille Users Only
Hi All!
When I first got my BrailleNote about four or five years ago, and
because I
am Deaf-Blind meaning that I don't use the speech output, I had
no choice
but to use an external and extra Braille display to do Active
Sync. I did
this just two times because it was a terrible hassle and used
SuperDisk
drive... and later CF card to do file transfers.
With a different notetaker, one doesn't have to use a separate
Braille
display. My question here is..with the new M-Power, does one
need to use
another Braille display to do Active Sync if one cannot use the
speech?
I look forward to hearing from you.
Thanks!
Jeff
