Hello again,

So long as something with a wire of any length is plugged into the M-power headphone jack, it should work. I think up to three to six feet should be fine. I can't speak for a speaker lead a few inches long though.

Hi,
Can you use an external speaker for an atenna? I hope that's not a dumb question.
Thank you.

Brian and list,

You need to have some kind of ear buds or head phones plugged
into the
M-power when listening to the FM radio since the cord on the ear
buds or
head phones acts as the FM antenna.

Ottawa Canada

Regarding plugging in headphones for the FM radio, I tried the
radio without plugging in the headphones and it could barely
pick
up any of our local stations here in Ottawa.

Plugging in the headphones improved reception fabulously and the
stereo effect is more pronounced when wearing headphones.

I like the presets as I can set them for my favourite stations
and their name is announced as I tune them in.

Brian
