Hi there Tiffany! I too have experienced the aforementioned problem, and when this happens, I simply lower the pitch by using the key combination enter with dot 2. It doesn't happen all that often, but when it does, this is how I correct the problem. I hope this was of some help, and happy holiday to you as well. Isaih
