If memory serves, although I did with the keyboard emulator, I don't recall actually specifying a com port in Jaws to use the synthesizer. Also, and again I know we are both just trying to learn and understand, but the message you are getting about not being able to save the changes, that is the one I recall getting before I installed the Belkin driver per the instructions in the article/review I referenced before. So, who knows. Sorry this is not coming together for you. Vickie, I have been trying to install the belkin drivers. When I go in and try to set the device up to let it be discovered it tells me that it cannot save the changes. I can find out the comm. Port. Where do I put that info in reference to the jaws driver??? This is my big question..
