That is possible. Positive numbers are, obviously, typed as normal. For a negative number, press SPACE with the minus sign, dots 3-6, on a BT anyway.

Combination

I agree! I am a highschool math teacher at the New York
Institute of special education and a lot of my students use Braillenotes. a plus minus function would also be helpful for operations with signed numbers.

 Dear HumanWare Staff,
I know there was just am improvement in the scientific
calculator, but I was wondering if there is going to be any
further upgrade in the next upgrade; if there is going to be
more
improvement in the scientific calculator sector, I would like
to
suggest the ability to do probability functions such as:
factorial, permutation, and combination. I know that there may
not be that many people who are going to use the scientific
calculator to this extent, but I really believe if it's
possible,
why not do it, especially if it means bringing equality in
terms
 of access.
Well, I really hope these functionalities will be implemented.
 Kevin
