Hello All: Some thoughts on the signal strength issue. If we imagine 0 db as a perfect signal, then the closer we get to 0 the better. However, network and signal degradation being what it is, we will never begin to approach zero. I'm sitting here right next to my router and getting a rating of about minus 28 db and on the opposite corner of the house, I get a reading of about minus 60 db.
I start to have trouble with internet streams at about minus 50 db. I agree, some kind of qualitative wording could be put on this measurement or at least something in the manual to indicate what different db levels will work for.
