Hi Joseph,

The inverse log functions are in the Scientific Calculator help and in the
User Guide, but are referred to "power of 10" and "power of e" in the help
and "10 to the power of" and "e to the power of" in the User Guide.
Obviously it would be good to mention "inverse log" in here to for those
not familiar with the "power of" terminology, something we will bear in
mind for the future.

Best regards

Jonathan Sharp

RE: [Braillenote] Inverse log with scientific calculator

This is Joseph. I think there is no mention of inverse log functions in
the
User Guide or the Help in the Scientific Calculator.

Lindsay,
It is possible to get the inverse log, regular log, natural log and to
perform logarithmic functions.
I am not sure about the Qt command, but regardless, I will give you the
bt
command, so I hope they will work. To get the regular log it is the
letter
l and to get the base 10 it is chord l.
I hope this helps, if this isn't what you are talking about, or it isn't
the
proper function you can send me an example of what you are talking about,
as
I am in Algebra 2.

I did not see a command to perform this function in the list of
scientific
functions found in the context-sensitive help so I have the suspicion that
maybe this is not currently possible and, if so, I would like to suggest
that this capability be implemented in a later version of Keysoft. If
this
is possible, however, could someone please give me the QT command for
performing this function? Thanks in advance for any help you may have.
