Hi Candi,
The difference between opening files in Keyword and Keybook is that, in
Keybook, files are protected from being edited. In addition, using Keybook,
reading commands do not require the space bar or read key, depending on
whether you are using a BT or QT keyboard. For example, to move forward a
word, you would press space with dot five or read with l while in Keyword,
however, in Keybook, you only have to press dot five on a BT or l on a QT.
Hope this helps.
Lindsay

accessible database manager gets more powerful
Now available at
http://www.EmpowermentZone.com/ddsetup.exe
Improvements over the initial public release are major and numerous.
They include the following:
* Use database formats besides Microsoft Access, including dBASE and
MySQL
* Transfer data between different tables
* Globally replace field values
* Backup the main database
* Examine the structure of a table
* Create new tables from within the program
* Generate output to the Windows clipboard or a file on disk
* Tabulate occurrences of data
* Define relationships between tables (sample records illustrate a
many-to-many relationship)
* Lookup a value from another table while editing a record
* Perform smart execution of a field value, e.g., if a URL, open it in
a web browser, or if an email address, initiate a message to that
person
* Enter SQL commands that are passed verbatim to the underlying
database driver
Comments and questions welcome.
Jamal
P.S. DbDialog 2.0 may be installed without uninstalling a prior version.
If installed to the same folder, however, key files will be
over-written, due to structural changes needed to support new features.
Contact me if this is a problem.
