Yes, other western Digital drives would probably work as well.
The thing about the passport 80 gb is that you can take it with
you anywhere you go, and it does not need power.
Anything over 100 gb will need ac power.

Since the MP is a battery eater, I would probably plug the drive
in so the
battery on the MP wouldn't drain. I might even plug both the MP

hard drive in.
But what confuses me is the list of hard drives Western Digital
has. People
have been mentioning the Passport drive, but wouldn't other
Western Digital
drives work with the MP too?
