Thanks, Terry. Since I do have a qt, I don't enter anything in braille. But
if I wanted everything in my notes area to be in grade two, I would type
control g2. This is what confuses me. Since I have a qt, everything gets
typed in as computer braille, I guess. But I wanted it displayed in grade
two.
I also want the carriage returns that are in the original notes area to be
maintained when I copy a record into a document.
I am using something called "entire phone template" that was designed by
someone on this list. I downloaded the qt version.
I don't think I can edit grade of braille in his file, but perhaps I should
put my cursor in the notes section after the notes field and then try
control g2.
Also, can't seem to get the carriage returns to be there when I copy the
record into another document.
Thanks.

Dear Paul,

I believe you have a QT keyboard, so here ar the commands. If you open the
template in KeyWord, you can change the grade of braille by using the
Keyword commands. For example, if you want an email address in the notes
field to be in computer braille and you are editing a text template, you
would press read control b b c. After the computereze, you would press read
control b b 2 so the rest of the notes would be in grade 2.

If you are editing the notes field in a braille template and you want to
change the grade of braille, you would press control g c and type the text
in computer braille. Or you would type control g 2 and type in grade 2
braille.

: Hi. There is a field marker for the notes. I don't see anything in the
: template for grade of braille, just markers for the various fields.

: Dear Paul,
:
: I've only made one template and it was a Keybase template.
:
: Basically, a template is a KeyWord document. So, open the template and
: erase the computer braille code in the notes field. The e-mail address
: should automatically be put in computer braille, but if it isn't, you can
: add these codes.
:
: I'm not sure about your problem with the notes, but check to see that a
: field marker has been placed for the notes. If there isn't a field
marker,
: then try adding one.
:
: Note that you can edit a template again and again until it looks the way
you
: want it to. That's what I had to do.

:: Hi, Everyone. I have been playing with the entire phone list template
: which
:: a list member has created.
:: I have some questions and concerns.
:: Mostly, this concerns the notes field.
:: If I copy a record using this template, I notice that there is a G0
:: indicator in the notes area causing everything to be written in computer
:: Braille. I can't find anywhere where I can specify that I want the notes
:: information to be written in grade two.
:: If I delete this G0 indicator, then everything shows up in grade two on
my
:: QT.
:: Next, I see that this person put an include line indicator after the
notes
:: field, but I can't see that it does anything whether it is there or not.
:: Everything in the notes field is one big paragraph. Carriage returns
that
:: are in the information noted in my notes area are totally ignored when
the
:: record is copied.
:: I don't see a way to have then put in unless I do it manually.
:: The other fields such as first name, street address, etc, all have
: carriage
:: returns as they should.
:: Is there anything I can do to force grade two during creation of the
