Alex,
This is Joseph. It is already built-in. You can use the hot keys to move
around. When you select that particular applicaiotn, KeyWord for example,
when you switch applications,BN wil say something like, "resuming editing of
something" whree something is the name of the document.

Subject: [Braillenote] KS Multi-Tasking in next upgrade?

Hi all,

With all this talk of extra appendages and such for performing
multiple tasks, I figured it was a good time to throw out a
suggestion I have been contemplating for months now. Why can't
KeySoft, especially on the mPowers with 64 mb RAM, multi-task?

Reformat the Task Menu to show status of all running tasks, for
example:
WordProcessor: opened file: (filename)
Planner: calendar date: (date)
Email: downloading message x of x
Media Player: playing (filename)
FM Radio: current station: (station info)

And so on, showing all running tasks. ENTER switches to a task,
and maybe SPACE with X switches between running and all programs
in the menu, as it does between file types in KeyWord. With this
multi-tasking, KeyMail could always be checking for new email,
large files could download from the web in the background, and so
on. Maybe one could open a document, tell the speech to read,
and go to another document to take notes as the first document is
read. This would be very advantageous for textbooks or writing
reports from sources. Regular keystrokes control the document in
which one is writing, and a certain keystroke activates the
keyboard in the other document, but without switching to it.
Maybe ENTER (instead of SPACE) with the switch between two files
command.

I hope to see this in the future, but let me know what you think. Alex
