Hi Brian;
A card reader is to down load to a computer from a card or from a computer to a
cf card. Why would you ever plug a card reader into a braille note?

You can buy a "Card Reader" at the nearest computer store or
probably Radio Shack that plugs into the USB port on a PC or your
BrailleNote.

You plug the Card Reader into a USB port and then plug the memory
stick, SD, CF etc memory card into the card reader and access it
like a disk drive.

I just bought a card reader myself but have not tried it on my
BrailleNote.

will let the list know if it works with my BrailleNote Mpower.

Brian
