Hi Martha:
To exercise your Braille display, press O-chord, I-chord, then X.
Let it exercise for a couple of minutes, then press E-chord.
Also, you can change the intensity of the Braille, and see if
that helps.

Subject: [Braillenote] Exercising Braille Display
Hi All!
Wrote to Tech Support about this, but either I'm dense, or today
isn't
the day to understand instructions!
I seem to be having a bit of a problem with the 8th cell of my
braille
display. I have an m-power with a braille keyboard.
I wrote the Tech person back, but while things are a bit "quiet",
I want
to see if someone can walk me through exercising of the braille
display.
Having to send the BN back to California just doesn't sit with me
right
now. I'd lose files and everything. But if it comes to that, I
guess
I will have to do it.
Now about the 8th cell: the dot one feels as if someone didn't
press
hard enough to make it clear as the other dots. It didn't feel
that way
before a week ago.
Thanks for any assistance.
