Hello Kevin,
Yes, I agree, that the deaf-blind would be paying the same price,
but for their money, they could get some features that were
specific to help people who are deaf-blind.
As far as the fm radio goes, I didn't mean, if I did, to sound
superior to people who are deaf-blind, I was merely stating that
if they can't use the fm radio, then there should be features
that they can use for the money paid.
I am not out to attack, I am only stating points that could help
Humanware make their product better for everyone.
Regards,
Robert

Robert,
I think that is an idea to make an upgrade just a Braille based
upgrade, but you would also have to consider the fact the
deaf-blind user would still be paying the same price as everyone
else, just without the same features being readily available or
accessible. And, I thought the comment about the FM Radio was
not necessary, you made it sound like they are losing out and you
are superior because you are able to use such a feature.

Hello,
I understand that you do not have the ability to use the fm
radio, but it is a nice feature to those of us who can use it.
I think that what Humanware should look into for a future
release, is a way to make the planner a feature that deaf-blind
people can use as well.
It seems to me, that a vibrating cell on the braille display
could tell you that you need to look at the braille display which
would in turn, alert you that your appointment is going off.
I can understand your frustration, because there are features
that I do not care for, but they come anyway with the upgrade.
I am wondering, if maybe in the future, the way to incorporate
deaf-blind people with the upgrade, is to give a upgrade that
will only incorporate braille features, which would mean the
deaf-blind community would need to work with Humanware to tell
them what is wanted and what is not.
I hope this helps both Humanware, as well as the deaf-blind group
of customers.
Regards,
Robert

Thank you Sharon! I apprecaite your understanding.
(I've invested a great dealofmoney in my Braillenote. If the
upgrades keep pusing voice and sound, I do't kow what I'll do.
COnsequentlym, knowing there are folks out there who WANT the
"BRAILLE" in Braillenote to mean somnething is a blessing. For
the reocrd, I've wondered WHY, since there is a "Voicenote, all
this audio stuff isn't incororated into that Device rather than
the BN.)
