One can see Microsoft Word codes in a file especially when changing it to a .brf file. I'd change the file to a .txt file or .rtf file before translating to braille. That's the easiest way to get rid of the codes.

Subject: [Braillenote] ms word documents

hi all,
I am wondering why some of my word documents have codes and other characters in them when I use them on the bn. these same files don't contain these codes when I open them on my computer using ms word or even k1000. Is there anything I can do if I don't have a computer available to format the documents to a different word format and need to read them right away on my bn.
thanks.
