Don,
Are there smaller drives that will work? I'm thinking that money
is the obsticle.

Hi stacey,
I know you asked about something under 80 Gb, but the western
digital discussed on here recently is 80 Gb but it does not
require an adapter. There is a
provision for one on the Western Digital drive, but it's not
required at all and is really intended for attachment to devices
which don't provide enough power to
run the drive. The MPower definitely does provide enough power
to run this usb drive.
I've been using it quite successfully for the past few months and
I do not have an adapter.
Obviously, it's going to produce a drain on the MPower battery,
but this is true for any such drive you connect to the MPower.
