Yes you can in word one of the reasons full word support would be nice.

Yes Ann, I understand now.
"but I must tell you that in the past, I've been able to save the
document on my computer with the html extension and simply open it and
read it in word.  Thus this was the reason for my post.  
My expectation had been that I'd be able to do the same on the bn mpower
since it supports ms word and is a windows ce device.  But thanks to the
list members I now understand that I cannot do this with my html and the
bn without going into keyweb.
