Hi Richard,

Is your Email database rather full? If you haven't already done this, delete
as much mail as you can, empty the trash, free the database space, then try
downloading mail again and see if you still have these weird behaviors
happening. My BN does similar things when I haven't been as diligent as I
should about housekeeping. <Grin>

HTH

Subject: [Braillenote] weird email errors

Hi all.
I'm getting some weird email decoding errors!
My bn bt mPower goes along just fine starting out, then suddenly
gives me a message about error decoding emails and something
about a card index, I can't really check it because the bn
continues downloading.
A little further on however, I again get an error message and
this time, the bn gives me a whole list of characters such as
character 142 etc etc, all the while, continuing to download.
Sometimes it will tell me that I have 60 emails, and at about,
say 20, it will suddenly tell me that there is no email to send
and ask me if I want to remain connected.
This problem started yesterday and a hard reset as well as a
regular reset doesn't seem to help.
Any idea what's going on?
I wish I could read the error messages, but it won't let me, and
because I have a hearing los as well as having a bad cold at the
moment, I really can't hear all my bn is saying in that error
message.
I heard the character part, although I can't remember all the
characters it mentioned, but I couldn't get all of the card index
part except for the words "card index."
Can anyone help?

Richard, thinking his unit is possessed!
