Richard, out of curiosity, approximately how many Email do you have in the
database? My mPower exhibits this exact behavior when I have more than
twenty-five hundred or so. It doesn't seem to matter how much free space there
is on the flash disk, if the Email database gets too full, it starts giving me
these strange "invalid card index" messages while downloading mail, and as you
also mentioned, occasionally just spontaneously stops downloading mail
altogether.

Subject: [Braillenote] found out that error about the card index!

Hi list!
I found out what that error says.
It says, "Error decoding email, invalid card index."
Any idea what that's all about?
Sometimes also, my bn will say that I have, let's say 136 emails.
Suddenly, in the middle of downloading, say around message 70, it
just gives me the "no email to send" prompt without announcing
that it has finished receiveing.
It then asks me if I want to remain connected.
I have over 100 mb on my flash disk and have a size limit on my
email so that anything larger than 12,000 gives me a prompt.
I do this to get rid of a lot of spam.
Any ideas what's going on here and what I can do about it?

Thanks in advance for the help

Richard
