If you can go to the manual folder on the Keysoft system disk, just erase that folder, and do a reset there, without going to the main menu. It should come back. If that doesn't work, you might try going to the flash disk, to the dictionary folder, and erasing the keysoft.ksd. Again, do a reset there, without going to main menu. That particular thing will set your BN to the default settings. Let me know if this works.

Hi Rhonda,

Thanks for sending this to me. I think it was you who said that
a reset
would reinstall everything including the manual.

I tried that and there is still no manual except for the user
guide. But
the manual folder did not return. Will I need to install this
from the
update disk?

Thanks.

The Appendix can be read from the manual in KeySoft. It cannot
be read by using the Options, U, and T or I. It dawned on my
what you meant finally.

That's what happens to me as well.

Hi Vicky,
I cannot get to the appendix through the user guide either. I
can
press enter on the sub index but can't see the appendix from
there. I can
get to it and read them through the keysoft disk. John At 06:16

What about when you try to open them directly, rather than from
the

by
accessing them through the book reader or KeyWord? For example,
if you
go to the book reader, select the KeySoft system disk for the
drive,
select manual for the folder and then either space down to the
appendix
or hit the letter a. Are you able to open them in this way?

Well, actually, I'm looking for all of it.

In the contents, it just shows the Appendix and when you open it,
the
subdirectory is empty.

Thanks.
