Hi Jeff, I am curious as to why you would need both a BN and a laptop on the same trip. Andy

I carry it either on its own, or in my regular tech bag with my laptop and other paraphernalia. I have not had any adverse effects on it or any of its components like cards (Compact flash or SD). I usually place it in its own container like my laptop and send it on through the X-Ray. If they ask, which is not often, I simply identify it as a PDA. I've also heard a rumor that the BrailleNote is actually listed on their documentation as a blindness aid. I don't have any verification of this yet. Quite honestly, I can't imagine traveling without it. I usually will download a book or newspaper just prior to takeoff from Bookshare and always have a couple of DVS movie sound tracks with me. Who needs in-flight entertainment anyway. So, enjoy your MPowered or BrailleNoted travels and don't worry about it. hth Jeff ___ To leave the BrailleNote list, send a blank message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] To view the list archives or change your preferences, visit http://list.humanware.com/mailman/listinfo/braillenote ___ To leave the BrailleNote list, send a blank message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] To view the list archives or change your preferences, visit http://list.humanware.com/mailman/listinfo/braillenote
