Yes, you would, but the kits I have come with it.

I think, though, if I were going to do much travel with the BN, I would buy a dedicated adapter from HumanWare. I have, however, used a Braille Lite overseas, I think, at first without it. I did buy one though for that unit. These devices are too expensive to take chances. you still would need the part that firs into the British mains, as they call it. It has three angled metal prongs that fit their outlets.
