Hello,
I don't know you and of course not the person you lost. Nonetheless, I'm
sorry for your loss. And of course, in the scheme of things, this is a
little fish in a small pond of course.
Next, when people are not informed of what has happened, why it has happened
and whether it can be rectified somehow, then it can be expected that people
will be upset over losing a valued resource. Communication in this context
from NLS would have made a big difference I think. I mean, if you can
trumphet a new and exciting program, you can certainly notify people when it
goes down.

Friends:
I just lost one of my best friends on this Earth yesterday!
In the face of that, Web Braille not functioning is a small problem.
Perhaps some of you should consider what you still have, rather than what
you are not able to do temporarily.
Life is what matters! Share the best you have, while you still have time!

Slow down you all!
Just because they are down for a day or two, does not mean it will be for
ever. Be patient. They could have had a crash or be dealing with a virus.
We do not know. Give them some time before you start griping to them. All
sites have problems sometimes.
I am sure we all have more constructive things to do. Give them a chance.
They have done a lot for all of us.

Hi all,

I got the same canned message from Judy Dixon that was posted here. I
hope that they're back soon too! May I suggest Gutenberg,
blackmask, Baen books, Braille.org I think it's called? If you've a
mind to buy books, try: http://store.yahoo.com/samizdat

Yep, truly a pain this is indeed!

Ann P.
