Hi List
I have sent a copy of this email to Ramona Mandy, the 1BN support
officer in Australia, but thought I'd also send it to the list.
My version of Outlook 2002 on my PC is corrupted and I can't use
it. On ringing Microsoft's technical support, I was told they
had instructions on their website for creating a new
outllookddpst file.
Nfortunately, the search results, when I went on the site, said
that JAVA Scripts were required. I have found that using the BN
makes the internet less overwhelming for me and I can find things
more quickly and easily. However, I'm stupfed about this JAVA
scripts thing. There was an option to download the JAVA Scripts
but I wasn't sure whether this would interfere with the workings
of the BrailleNote so i exited out of it.
I understand that JAVA is a particular computer language but
don't know whether most PC's have the scripts. Is it possible to
get the BN to work with JAVA or will I have to use the PC, even
if I have to download the scripts?
I would really appreciate an answer ASAP. Let me know if this is
more of a Jonathan question or a BN list question.
Thanks.
Michele
