The Braille Sense supports Daisy Player also, so it would be a good idea for
HumanWare to get support for the BN.

Did you hear something? think I hear a voice from the past reminding us to
stay with the topic of the BN.

: Thank you thank you.
: This is what I don't understand! Why do the users of the other device have
: it and we don't?!
: I have used both devices and just think the bn is better quality along
with
: some other issues.

: I really think that it might be worth it atsome point for HW to support
: Audible and Overdrive, even for a price. A certain competitor of the BN,
: whose dreaded name I won't mention, has supported Audible for some time.
: That device also supports DAISY files, including those from Bookshare.
Lack
: of support for these features could conceivably cut into HW's market.
When
: I was selecting my device, I disliked some of the other traits of
: That-Device-Which-Must-Not-Be-Named, especially the way the hookup between
: the removable Braille display and the unit itself looked like a big, bad
: accident waiting to happen. I certainly don't regret my choice of BN, but
: many users might select one of the devices that supports the media types
: that most hearing blind people want to use.
