Hi List,

I live in Tucson Arizona.
Tems here sometimes are in the triple digits and my MPOWER has been operating just fine.

Thanks,
Frank M. Hernandez.

Dear KC,

I live in Santa Rosa California, about 55 miles north of San
Francisco.
Once in a while, the temp will be over 100, but most of the time
it stays in
the 70 to 90 range.

I live on the third floor of an apartment complex and I must walk
a long
ways to get to the elevator and those books are just too heavy.

I wish that all blind and deaf blind had access to refreshable
braille
and/or voice notetakers. A person is very limited when they are
only able
to use paper braille. I agree with you there should be a program
for
lending such devices to people who need them.

: Hi Terri,
:
: I livein California and it can go up above 90 here and often
: over 100. I don't like to risk my BN.
:
: My mailbox is at the endofmy driveway. Ileave books for
returnin
: to the LIbrary down there and the Mail carrier picks themup.
: (I'm told they do it for anyone who asks.) Of course, I only
: take a few out at a time, so it is not a big deal. In any
case,
: itismy choice.
:
: As Ann has ointedout, many, especailllly in the deaf-blind
: community, do ot have Notetakers for reading books. In fact, I
: asked Mr. Clyke at a COnventon last year about the possiblity
of
: NLS providing something. The answer ws somethingl ike:
"Maybe
: some day down the raod."
