You may not be in as much of a minority as it seems, there is often quite a bit of silence when people don't have solutions. I'd rather see no answers at all to my questions than a bunch of "I don't know" messages. [LOL]
As far as printing goes, you seem to be on the right track in solving this problem by talking to HW, and I don't know anymore than that, since I don't print from my mPower, so I'll stop now. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Behalf Of Matt Lyles Sent: Tuesday, May 16, 2006 8:37 AM To: [email protected] Subject: [Braillenote] To print or not to print There's a peculiar silence on the question of printing but much to say on book reading. Is printing a non-issue? Or am I one of a tiny minority with serious problems printing? Convinced I was doing something wrong I took took my MPower along to the NFB Technology Department and spent most of one morning with a knowledgeable someone who tried a range of possible solutions but eventually advised me to contact Humanware. Himself a Braillenote PK user he confessed a lack of experience using the new and couldn't say that he knew it actually should print. "It should, but I've never tried printing with one. Talk to Humanware, I guess ..." Well, Humanware and MPower users ... what do you think? The Manual and User guide say positively the thing should print and with a minimum of trouble. But I'm learning from a few users they also experience the same results as I do--MPower thinks it's printed a document when it hasn't. So perhaps there actually is a problem? Hopeful of a simple answer ...
