Hello all,
I got a chance to see the PK and MPower. I chose the MPower qt because I
take lots of notes in the field,and it's easier for me to use a
typewriter-style keyboard.
However, I liked the small size of the PK. The neat thing about the BN
products is that they are designed with different needs in mind.

Well, I also have both the mPower and PK. And, although I do like the
mPower and use it quite a bit around my apartment, I much prefer the PK
for going out and about, due to its much smaller size and weight. GPS is
great on both units; and, for that matter, I haven't noticed any decrease
in speed from the mPower to the PK. As for the speaker on the PK, it
sounds quite good for a device of its size; and, too, I believe the volume
on such things as the alarm even sounds a bit louder with the PK. And
finally for this email, the battery life on my particular PK has been much
longer than that of my mPower. I've been here in Kentucky visiting my
family for Mother's Day, and I have so far only had to charge its battery
once since Saturday morning. And, to occupy my time while down here, I've
used the PK several hours a day.
