Hi Liz,
I know there is a way to specify file types like brf or whatever,
and indicate that you want to save them and not open them, so
hopefully someone will chime in with that information. What I
would do if I were you right now though would be to select all
when the volume of text opens, copy it to the clipboard, and
paste it in a file you create with notepad or whatever. Then
you'd have to change the file name to have a brf extension. Not
sure why you're getting errors but I do know it's not as easy to
go back to get the rest of the volumes as it was. This
maintenance they've done on the surface seems to have amounted to
little more than making the site harder to navigate. Maybe they
haven't finished tinkering with the site yet.

Perhaps this message is straying too far from the topic of this
list, but
I'm having difficulty downloading Web braille volumes.
Right now, I'm downloading to my PC running Windows XP until I
can get the
BN networked to my cable Internet.
I accepted the Web braille agreement and then somehow ended up
with the
volume text. When I went back a couple of pages to try
downloading, I kept
getting error messages.
any help is greatly appreciated.

You have to do a 46 chord on the bt to find and hit enter on the
accept
button before downloading each volume. Then when you go back a
page,
you're at the accept place again and you have to go back another
page.
I'm finding that sometimes you're on the page with the volumes
of the book
that you want at this point and sometimes you're not, in which
case you
have to start over.
