I am using a lexar USB thumb drive very successfully. I apologize if I didn't clearly express this in prior messages.

Hi,

When statements are made about Lexar working, the writer should indicate
whether these are Lexar cards or flash drives that they are havingh success
with. I've seen other statements about Lexar working on the BN, but it's
never been indicated whether we're talking about cards or drives. That's a
big difference. I'd expect a Lexar flashcard to work, but as of this
writing, not a Lexar flash drive.
Best Regards,

Les

Really? That is strange. Did you install any drivers? Two 256mb Lexar thumb
drives have not worked, and no lexar printer will, either. Can we get a
comment from HW please?

The mPower can take USB drives, but only certain types. Most Sandisk
and Toshiba seem to work, but no Lexar at all. A full compatibility
list exists at the FTP link "downloads" at
www.adaptiveinformation.org. Give that a try and make sure the drive
matches one on the list.

Hi Terry,

That is also a good idea. It was the use of the semicolon that
I was
missing in trying to string several addresses together. Most
other
programs use a comma.
Actually, your way would be very useful in cases where you don't
want to
enter all of the names separately into the address list.
So, thank you very much.

Hi
Another work around is:
1. In Keyword create a file representing the group you wish
to use.
2. Now switch to grade 0 (backspace+j) and type in all of
the
addresses
you wish to be contained within the group separating each address
with a
demi colon.

Now when you want to send a message to that group
1. Open the file and block it off, copying the block to the
clipboard.
2. Now create a new message.
3. in the To field press backspace+V, this will copy all the
addresses
into the field.

I have to say I didn't think of Rhonda's work around and in many
ways it's
more straightforward than this one, however the above has worked
for me
for
a while.

Cheers!

Hi Richard and list:

Richard, here is kind of a work-around for what you want to do
regarding
sending group email. You will have to manually write the
addresses for a
field you select.

1. In a field that you don't normally use in your address book,
write a
code name, such as "book club." (This could be in the "middle
name"
field,
or any other field you don't use for addresses.

2. When you want to send an email to a group, go to the "to"
prompt, and press Backspace L (Ctrl L.

3. You will see "selection list for address list."

4. Go down to the field you have selected. Don't press Enter,
but write
in
"book club", or the name you have chosen.

5. Press Enter. All of those addresses will show up there.

6. Press E chord, (Escape). You will see, "also send to. You
can go
down
to the subject line, and send your email.

Good luck, and hope this will work for you.
