Hello Isaih:

There is no way to convert audio on the MPower to another format. However, you can convert it on your PC or laptop with a little free program available from NCH called Switch. If you do a Google search on NCH Switch, you should find it. It is very accessible and will convert to and from most audio formats.

It's so great to hear you so excited about the MPower. I think most of us on the list feel the same way. It's a very rare time that I don't have this thing over my shoulder.

Subject: [Braillenote] converting audio files?

Dear list! I wanted to know if any of you knew of a way to
convert a wav file that you've recorded with the m power to any
other format like a mp3 file? I've been having so much fun
learning my new note taker, and I've already sent a few of my
friends some voice messages via the voicenote, but it appears
that the only format that I can send recorded audio files in is
wav. If I can't save my audio files in any other format, it's
not a big deal; I just wanted to know if it was even possible?
What a fantastic feature the memo recorder is. Just so all of
you know, since I've received my m power, I probably have gotten
about seven hours of sleep in total. It's almost as though I
can't pull myself away from this thing. hahahahahahaha!!! Hay,
at least I'm having fun right? Take care list, and I'll look for
your reply. Isaih
