Hi Rachael:
The email you are seeing are called "ghost email"; they occur when you delete the email folder dot cdb. The first thing I would do is erase the Keysoft cdb file, found on the flash drive in the Dictionary folder. Do a reset right there before going to main menu. If that doesn't work, write back, and I'll tell you what else I think, (smile).

Subject: [Braillenote] Outbox problem!

Hi All,

I seem to have a major problem with my outbox! It started when I
tried to
send a message to another list I'm on, and I got an error
message. No big
deal, I thought I'd reset and try again. Didn't help. I wrote
myself a
message, hoping to kick it loose, and this did no good. At this
point, if I
pressed read with I at the outbox, is said I had one message in
it. However
when I tried to leave keymail, it said there were two messages in
the
outbox. Couldn't send either one of them. I tried putting the
email
folders.cdb from yesterday's backup in there, thinking that the
problem
hadn't been there yesterday, so it should fix it, but it didn't.
Not only
that, but the test email I then wrote made three in the outbox,
but only
when leaving the keymail program. Otherwise, it said there was
one.

I erased the email folders.cdb, did a reset right there, wrote an
email and
tried to send it. No luck. I know the erasing was complete,
since it asked
me if it should creat the email folders.cdb, which it said didn't
exist.
Then, when I tried to leave key mail, it said I had three
messages in the
outbox. I looked at the outbox with read with I, and it said
there was one.

I have since replaced the latest version of the email folders.cdb
file,
since it doesn't seem that the problem lies there. I've done all
the resets
but the service one. I'm willing to do that one, but I don't
like doing it,
and would rather not, unless someone has good reason to believe
it will fix
the problem.

Any thoughts would be so much appreciated! In the meantime, I
have to write
this on the PC, and the keyboard feels absolutely huge!

TIA,

Rachael
