This is Joseph. I think this is quite off-topic, but I'll describe what each
does.
If I remember correctly, there are actually four modes of display methods:
line, structured, speech history (formerly speech box) and attributes.
Line mode: This mode allows you to see what is laid out on the line as it
appears on the screen.
Structured mode: This is the default mode. The information that is
surrounding the element e.g. form fields, links, text, are displayed.
Speech history: The information that is read by the synthesizer is also
displayed on braille.
Attributes mode: This alows you to see what kind of attributes are displayed
on the text.
The keystroke to change the display mode is dot 1 using terminal mode on BN.
