Hi, I know for me I would like this for my QT because I have a volunteer job
where I was offered to do surveys over the phone. So instead of trying to
listen to Jaws and talk to the person and then write their answers I would
use my Braille note to read the questions in braille. But the problem is if
then I have to swap back to the computer keyboard to type their answer it
gets a bit messy but if I could type the answers into the Braille note then
it would be allot quicker. I thought about doing it all on my Braille note
but we don't have any way of putting the documents onto the Braille note or
sending them to the boss from my Braille note because I don't have email
access. If we want to install active sync on the work computer we have to go
through the tech people and get permission for a few people. It is a
government computer so we can't just do anything to it. I already have Jaws
on it so if I wanted the emulator I'm sure they would let that on without
too many problems because I would explain it goes with Jaws and they
wouldn't know anything different.

Well that is my reason for having it for the QT Braille notes.

Cindy,
Yes, the keyboard emulator is only available for the BT model of
keyboards. The thought might be, "Why would you want to emulate
a qwerty keyboard, if a regular keyboard is already a qwerty?"
I hop this information may help you.
