I am quite curious of a situation where you would want to go out and
purchase a solar pannel to charge your BrailleNote. First thing to consider
is the price of a solar pannel, and the size of it. Then you would need to
find a way of converting the energy from the solar pannel into something
that is usable by the BrailleNote. The BrailleNote provides a far superior
battery life compared to something like a laptop, which for a laptop is 4
hours max. And, if you really need to, you might be able to find a outlet
and charge your BrailleNote for 2 hours, and with that 2 hour, you will
recieve a full charge. Or, if that fails, then just enjoy the moment without
your BrailleNote.

One way of recharging the VoiceNote from a Solar Panel would be
to use the panel to feed an inverter which in turn would produce
120 volt, 60 cycle current, which the VoiceNote AC adapter then
converts into what the unit needs to run on.
This is not an ideal solution as you need the inverter in
addition to a Solar Panel but it will work.
Brian who is having fun in Montreal!
