Hi Nancy:

I hope Jonathan can respond as to the why. As long as you don't have to reset, your calculation will stay in the mainframe. What I will never understand is why, when you recall a memory, your figures double. It doesn't do it all the time, but if you try to check what is in memory, many times the figures will change. On the mPower QT, you can press R, then the memory number, and it's always correct. I've noticed in teaching people using a BT, the it changes. I'd like to hear other people's experiences.

Subject: [Braillenote] Error messages and your responses

Hi. I just want to thank Rhonda, Joseph, Kathy Davis, Peggy Kern
and anyone else who has responded to my query about these silly
error messages I should know the meanings of by now.
Rhonda, for some reason, the calculation for the "banking
database" doesn't stay inthe calculator memory. Hmm, I'm not
sure why. I always have to go back to the date and redo the
calculation minus or plus whatever, I hit Enter, then do an a
chord, m then an a again for memory one. Oh, well, I'm sure I 'm
doing something wrong. Maybe I should do all this stuff then hit
enter? It's just something stupid I'm missing. Thanks.
Nancy
