The player itself has a USB plug on one end, plus all the
standard buttons and screen and so on. The USB port plugs into
an L-shaped receiver. The recepticle is on the top of the short
side,so the whole thing makes a rectangle when put together. The
long (and thicker) part of the L contains the battery, so it must
be attached to the player for the player to work. It draws
power, I assume, from the device into which it is plugged for
music transfer. The BN, as I have said, recognizes this device
as a hard disk. Ensure, however, you do not try to play
protected music; it will not work.

I was at school yesterday and someone had a Creative FCCE digital
MP3 player (a device that uses USB to connect to a computer so
it
can have music put on it which can be listened to using the
device later). I was bored, so I asked if I could see the MP3
player. I plugged it into my BN, not expecting it to do
anything, and got the "hard disk ready" message! I was really
surprised, and figured I would tell the list that it worked in
case it was not already on the compatibility list.

Hi,
I just tried a 256MB Creative FCCE digital music player in my
mPower; it was recognized and worked fine. Sorry if this device
has already been cataloged, but I figured it couldn't hurt.
